Hop Latent Viroid (HLVd) Test

Description

3R offers a TaqMan RT-qPCR assay for the detection of Hop Latent Viroid (HLVd) in plant tissue. The assay is a multiplexed RT-qPCR whereby more than one target is detected in the same reaction. Multiplexing allows us to detect two different parts of the HLVd genome thereby reducing false positives while simultaneously detecting an internal target plant RNA to confirm the integrity of the sample and PCR reaction.
